Seth Gitner, a player for the Flyers, a CNY Adaptive Sports Board Member, and a faculty member at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications initiated the effort after identifying the team’s need for an updated look and matching gear.

The redesign project, spearheaded by Gitner’s students, introduced a revitalized logo and branding for the Flyers, aiming to inject new life into the team’s appearance. Recognizing the significance of this upgrade, Seth Gitner, along with his father Gerry and brother Dan, stepped forward to finance the new jerseys, socks, and even coaches’ jackets, ensuring a complete makeover for the team.

The CNY Flyers, sponsored by CNY Adaptive Sports, have expressed gratitude towards the Gitner family for their substantial contribution.
