CNY Flyers Triumph at Syracuse Sled Hockey Classic 2024

The CNY Flyers secure a narrow victory over the Buffalo Sled Vets in a closely fought 2-1 win.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The CNY Flyers emerged victorious at the Syracuse Sled Hockey Classic 2024, defeating the Buffalo Sled Vets 2-1 in a tightly contested gold medal game. This year’s event, notably hosted for the first time at the Tennity Ice Pavilion at Syracuse University, saw the Flyers clinch the title with crucial goals from Seth Gitner and Cody Arnold.

Sponsored by CNY Adaptive Sports, the Flyers demonstrated skill and teamwork throughout the tournament, culminating in their hard-fought final win.

The Buffalo Sled Vets narrowed the Flyers’ lead with a goal in the latter part of the match. Despite their efforts to equalize, the Flyers’ defense held firm, securing the 2-1 victory as the final buzzer sounded.

The victory highlights the Flyers’ capability on the ice. It underscores the successful partnership between CNY Adaptive Sports and Tennity Ice Pavilion, which has been instrumental in promoting and supporting sled hockey.
